On October 1, while attempting to store his revolver in an almirah at home, the gun accidentally discharged, injuring Govinda’s leg. Fortunately, the injury was not life-threatening, and the actor was promptly rush to the hospital. After receiving treatment, his condition improve, and he was deemed fit for discharge by October 4.
Doctor’s Update and Recovery Plan
Dr. Agarwal, the doctor overseeing Govinda’s recovery, provided reassuring updates. “He will have to rest for three to four weeks. His physiotherapy is ongoing, but he is doing much better and is quite cheerful,
which is why we are discharging him. He will rest at home,” said Dr. Agarwal.
In addition to physiotherapy, Govinda’s diet is being closely monitore by specialize dieticians. His wife, Sunita Ahuja, also shared an update on his recovery, stating,
“Doctors have said that Govinda will need bed-rest for the next six weeks. He cannot exercise right now, so we are keeping a close check on his diet.”
