The controversy centers around Naidu’s accusation that animal fat was being use in the preparation of Tirupati laddus during Jagan Reddy’s tenure,
which has sparked outrage and hurt the sentiments of Hindus across the country. The apex court, however,

Reddy went on to defend the TTD’s strict quality checks for manufacturing the prasadam, explaining that a “robust system” is in place to ensure the purity of the laddus. “Three tests are conduct before the product is use,
and single test fail, the entire batch is sent back,” he clarifie. According to Reddy,
tankers were sent back 14 times during the Naidu regime for fail quality check Tirupati Laddus row.
Reddy also called on Naidu to “feel ashamed” for spreading “blatant lies” and urged him to stop using religious issues for political drama. This case has only intensified the rivalry between the two leaders,
with both sides accusing each other of misleading the public.
